What is your Return Policy?

Custom items are non-refundable once a deposit has been made. Ready-to-wear items in the store can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of receiving the order.

How fast is your turnaround time?

Generally speaking, We need to have 1-3 weeks for masks, 6-8 weeks for corsets and 2-3 months for costume commissions. If you need something faster than that, feel free to contact us. We will do our best to accommodate.

Do you make costumes?
Yes, we make TONS of costumes and other fabric-based commissions: including superhero suits, puppets, animal costumes, historical replicas, upholstery and everything in between. We can also costume design your film/ TV project, from concept to on-set support!

Do you make custom corsets?
Yes, we make custom corsets of all sorts of variety and size. Each corset is customized and made to your unique measurements. We can even customize corsets for drag proportion padding, men's vest corsets, and gender transition shapewear.

Do you make plus-sized corsets?
My ready-to-wear underbust corset patterns go up to size 46”, which will fit people with up to 56” waists. We can always take custom requests as well.

Do you have a storefront?

We work out of a studio space in Los Angeles, CA. It is not open to the public, but you are welcome to make an appointment for fittings, consultations or measurements.

How do I place an order?
Most basic corsets, stretch basics, and face masks are available on our Online Store. For a custom order, you need to get through to management to approve, finalize and put together your paperwork. Be patient, and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Contact me HERE for custom inquiries.

How much are your costumes?
Each piece is custom made and each costume has varying degrees of detail and labor and everyone’s body is different. Prices are based on amount of labor, materials, and complexity.  It is literally impossible to give you a price quote without having discussed material needs (including design, fabric, size, deadline, etc..), complexity, and estimating labor hours for the piece. We need all the details first, reference pictures, and a chance to price materials before a quote can go out. Rush orders pay additional fees. Just so you know, custom costumes generally start in the several-hundred dollar range. We cannot work within unreasonably low budgets. Please consider that every order requires a ton of expertise in pattern drafting, fabric sourcing and construction techniques.

Do you have one of (X) costume ready-made that I can buy?
No, every costume commission is custom made-to-order. We do have a small range of corsets available in most sizes at any given time though.

Can you work out payment plans?
We require a deposit of 50% of the total to begin work on any piece. This is non-refundable as we will purchase materials soon after receiving the deposit and if you change your mind, we cannot be left holding the bag (of materials). The remaining balance is due upon completion and before shipping.

Can I waist train in your corsets?
You absolutely can waist train in our long line corsets, but we would not recommend cinchers for waist training. The long lines are built with double layers of heavy cotton twill with double-boned seams. We only use European spring and spiral steel in them. Generally, cinchers are made using German plastic boning (which is amazing boning that doesn't warp or snap) unless you upgrade them to steel for an additional $25.

Can you make me a Playboy Bunny corset?
Sadly, if you're not in the Los Angeles area, we cannot make a 'bunny' style corset for you. They involve multiple fittings and must be done in person. We'd be happy to make an over-bust corset for you with just measurements but cannot do the bunny style without meeting in person.

Do you make armor?
We do not make armor but have a great relationship with several people who do. We are happy to refer you to any of those talented people.

Can you make (X) corset in a different color?

We can pretty much get fabrics in any color, as we have access to the wonderful Downtown LA fashion district. Please reach out with your requests!

Can you rhinestone (X) thing for me?
Hell yes! We love getting rhinestoned up at Lauren St Laurent. But be warned – we only use the highest quality glass-cut crystals and they do run rather expensive. Bras start at around the $300 mark and will go up based on cup sizes. Please contact us with your bra size and design ideas for a custom quote. We are also more than happy to rhinestone your costumes for an additional cost.

Do you make kids’ costumes?
We are working on expanding our range to include more things for little ones. Feel free to send us a message through the contact page, and we'll see if we can accommodate. Be warned, most of our custom commissions are rather costly due to their one-of-a-kind nature, so don't expect mass-produced pricing.

Do you make men's costumes?
We can make anything! While our clientele is predominantly female presenting, that doesn't mean we can't help a guy out! Most of our photos will reflect that. Please send a reference photo of what you're after and we'll see if we can tackle it!

Will you send me progress pics?
Ain’t nobody got time for that.

Please let us know if there are any questions you think we should add to the note to help others out. Thanks!
